Have your say on Possil Millennium Space and Bandstand!
The Ruchill/Possilpark Thriving Places Group is exploring options and ideas to improve the Millennium Space and Bandstand area at Saracen Cross (Saracen Street/Balmore Road/Bardowie Street).
The area is an important public space where in recent years local groups have held a number of successful events, highlighting its value to the community.
The City Council recognises that the Space would benefit from some repairs and, depending on the community’s wishes, new features could be introduced to encourage greater use of the Space.
Ruchill Possilpark Thriving Places Group and the City Council are looking to work with the community to improve the space.
After a recent consultation in August/September 2015, three design options have been suggested for the area. We offer residents the ability to vote on a preferred option, prior to construction in early 2016.
