Join us as our new Health and Safety Manager ...

We're excited to announce that we are looking to expand our senior management team with a dedicated professional in health and safety.

The new Health and Safety Manager will play a pivotal role, responsible for managing health, safety and wellbeing across the ng group. This includes overseeing the successful delivery of all landlord duties in relation to tenant and resident health and safety together with a focus on staff safety and wellbeing.

This position is not just about compliance, but about creating a culture of care and resilience and involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to develop and implement robust health and safety policies and procedures.

Who we are looking for ...

We are looking for someone who is not only experienced and knowledgeable in health and safety regulations but also passionate about making a difference in people's lives. Candidates will possess a relevant qualification and will have an appropriate level of relevant experience in a similar health and safety role together with up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and the work of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified and have a working knowledge of the Scottish housing sector and/or landlord health and safety duties and responsibilities and will ideally be a member of an appropriate professional body.

This role requires a strong team player who will work closely with colleagues to develop best practice policies and procedures and plan and deliver all health and safety related works and activities.
