A number of years ago ng homes signed a Charter to Challenge Poverty along with other Housing Associations, with the aim to take action on areas to alleviate the impact of poverty on people’s lives, opportunities and health and wellbeing.

Viral sensation the dancing Glasgow Grannies want to use their new found fame to raise money for a new community centre at Possilpoint. The current facility is a little dilapidated and hosts the Grannies for a weekly dance club along with numerous other community events.

TENANTS of ng homes have recently completed the Getting Ahead programme with Scottish charity Bridges out of Poverty who help people in Glasgow move out of poverty and lead change in their communities.
RESIDENTS of ng homes are getting their hands dirty at their local allotment this season and members of the North Glasgow community are invited to join growing sessions to learn about sowing, cultivating, and most importantly harvesting food in a natural, organic way.
